BUILT BY ENGINEERS WHO FELT THE PROBLEM FIRST
Phoenix AVL didn't start in a boardroom. It started on a stage — with a drummer who couldn't hear the monitor, a pastor who couldn't hear the sermon, and an engineer who decided to fix it for good.
TOTAL ACOUSTIC MASTERY
We believe every worship space, recording studio, and live venue deserves acoustic environments that serve the music — not fight it.
Since building our first enclosure in 2006, the demand for our product has been nothing short of phenomenal. We had no idea our design would go on to become a staple for church drummers and sound designers worldwide. Our designs have evolved a great deal since then, and we continue to strive to innovate — expanding our reach to customers across the US, Canada, the UK, and beyond.
FROM ONE ENCLOSURE TO COMPLETE ENVIRONMENTS
The original enclosure
We built our first custom drum enclosure for Gateway Church in Southlake, TX. The congregation heard the sermon clearly for the first time in years — and word spread fast.
A design becomes a standard
Demand outpaced word-of-mouth. Our curved enclosure design became a staple for church drummers and sound designers across the country. Phoenix Enclosures was formalized and began shipping nationwide.
Going global
Sales expanded to Canada and the UK. What started as a single church solution was now serving worship spaces, studios, and venues across the globe.
Acoustic panels enter the lineup
Enclosures solved the source. Panels solved the room. We added precision-tuned acoustic treatment to address the full acoustic chain — not just the drum kit.
Pro AVL division launches
Audio, video, and lighting — unified under one team. Our new Pro AVL division was born to serve venues that needed the whole picture engineered from the ground up.
The Phoenix REVEAL-X7
Our most advanced enclosure ever. Seven curved proprietary glass panels, 40+ dB isolation, and a footprint engineered for the modern worship stage — continuing a legacy of innovation that started in 2006.
THE PRINCIPLES BEHIND EVERY BUILD
The original curved design
Every curved drum enclosure you see on the market traces its lineage back to our original 2006 design. We pioneered the form — and we've never stopped refining it.
40+ dB isolation
Our enclosures deliver over 40 dB of sound reduction — a benchmark we've held and improved upon for nearly two decades. No guesswork. No marketing math.
